| Jennifer brings multiple needed gifts to the Board. She has lived in Tuscarawas County all her life, and knows almost everyone in the county. Her experience on various state association boards is an asset. She currently serves as the Community Relations Coordinator at Buckeye Career Center in New Philadelphia. She also worked as Marketing Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters and as a Prevention Consultant at the Alcohol and Addiction Center. She is a graduate of Kent State. She is married to Mike, a youth pastor, and they have 3 children in school at Dover. Jennifer is a member of Schoenbrunn Moravian Church, and is currently attending New Pointe. “I’ve been a part of Camp Buckeye since the beginning in various roles and I’ve seen it grow stronger. I want to be a part of making it continue” is why Jennifer is giving her time as a member of the Board. | Vernon Yoder hails from Wayne County and is a mason by trade. He is also an auctioneer, doing many benefit sales. Vernon loves helping people, both old and young. He does yard work for the elderly, teaches Sunday School for youth, and volunteers with a youth outreach in Canton. His motivation for serving on the Board at Camp Buckeye is to help make a difference in the lives of young people. He attends Gospel Haven Church. |

| Jon Mast resides in Berlin with his wife Carrie and their 2 children, Tyler & Evelyn. Jon is involved with the family business, Dutch Legacy Creations & B & L Transport. Their family attends Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his kids and plays “a little” golf. Jon says, “I thought Camp Buckeye seemed like a very cool place. Being able to spread God’s word to the kids at the camp is awesome. Planting those seeds early is so important.” He continues, “I don’t know what I hope to accomplish while I am on the board. For whatever reason, God pushed me to be on the board, so I am going to let Him lead and hopefully He will use some talent that I may have to help the camp affect people’s lives in a positive way.” | Dennis brings an analytical mind and a sense of humor to the board. His gifts help keep camp on track in many ways. Dennis owns and operates a local business along with his father-in-law. Dennis has a gift of working with children and served as youth sponsor at Walnut Creek Mennonite where he attends with his wife, Sonia and their 3 children. He just recently took on the additional task of coaching college girls softball for Malone College. |

| Marcia has served on the board for many years in many capacities. She brings a passion for introducing children to Jesus. She and her husband Mark, have a 14 year old daughter. Marcia has been involved with home schooling. Her husband Mark works for the Muskingam Watershed conservancy. They both love God’s incredible creation that is so evident at Camp Buckeye. Their family attends New Hope Ministries in New Philadelphia. | Merle Swartzentruber is no newcomer to Camp Buckeye. Merle was a counselor when he was “young enough to keep up with the kids.” He has three children, two who spent summers at Buckeye as campers and then counselors. He lives in Sugarcreek with Judy, his wife of 36 years. His daughters are married—and his son is getting married in July. He enjoys spending time with his 3 energetic grandsons. Merle is the Occupation District Technician at Holmes Soil & Water Conservation District for the past 10 yrs. He attends New Pointe Community Church and has served in the toddler nursery, Sunday mornings for the past 12 yrs. Memories of Merle sketching “Precious Moments” pieces of art late at night for his campers late at night, speak of his love and passion for working with kids. He is a gifted artist and enjoys golfing, sports and old cars. Most of all he loves kids and the outdoors. In serving on the Board of Directors, Merle says “I hope to give a little back to Camp Buckeye for everything camp has been to our family.” He has been a part of camp since its beginnings! |
