Forty six hours of camp is perfect for the first time camper, the child who wants a shorter camp stay, or the camper for whom a week of Basics is just not enough!  Emphasis at Discovery Camp is on enjoying camping in its purest form ’ lots of fresh air, fishing, plenty of time to stop and look under leaves or simply stretch out under a tree, hunting for treasures such as salamanders and deer tracks and enjoying the pleasures of a roaring campfire, rousing camp songs and that yummy perennial favorite, the S’More!  Counselors gently guide children ages 7-10 through just under two days of Camp Buckeye’s finest offerings.  An excellent introduction to camp life for even the youngest camper.  Camper-staff ratio is approximately 4:1.
